VACAY Hair Design

Born and raised in Altoona, IA and currently living in Pleasant Hill, I have known this side of Des Moines the majority of my life. With the Ankeny area rapidly growing, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of opening my own suite within Dolce Vita. Thus creating VACAY, a place where hair design meets travel!  At VACAY you can sit back and enjoy complimentary wine while relaxing in a vacation like atmosphere.

With over 6 years of professional salon experience, being a hairstylist is something I both love doing and excel at. In 2011, I completed the Aveda Institute of Des Moines cosmetology program and truly believe it set a foundation for the knowledge and unique skill-set I have today. Since then I’ve built my clientele by listening to what my clients want and building their trust to allow me to express my creativity. I have been to numerous hair shows over the years as well as specialized classes for the products in which I use. This knowledge goes into every look I create!
