I began my career in 2006 after visiting the Aveda Institute in Chicago. I was instantly inspired by Aveda’s natural well being and raw beauty, which encouraged me to enroll the same day. After graduating, I moved back to Iowa bringing my new love for hair with me. I’ve continued to grow in the beauty industry working with top lines such as Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Unite, Schwarzkopf, Artego and Living Proof. I draw inspiration from my daily life, which I keep stocked with passionate people, a closet full of accessories, and a never ending fascination with the world. I’ve created a relaxing, cozy space at Dolce Vita for my guests so they can get a taste of my favorite products and my own personal style. I enjoy creating rich dimensional colors, and beachy wearable styles for my guests, but I really find there are endless possibilities with every colorful client.
